James Carter and Dave Fish would like to give you a window into the future.
The team have paired up and completed the first annual Mobility Study, the results of which they will share in a webinar scheduled for Nov. 22 from 2 to 3 p.m.
“This research gives very strong clues about where people see their automotive and mobility needs today and how they will evolve over the next five to 15 years,” explains Carter, principal at Vision Mobility and Canadian AutoWorld columnist.
The research was conducted between Sept. 30 and Oct. 2 all across the United States.
The team polled 1,000 respondents about how they understand and use transportation; the differences in how people respond to new mobility services by age, geographic location, education and commute time; discover people’s priorities in what they are looking for in their transportation needs; and understand how all these findings fit into the total picture of new mobility and what takeaways can benefit your organization.
Carter, who boasts over 20 years in automotive, says the retail industry is set to evolve rapidly from the traditional model that has been around for almost 100 years to a completely new and diverse industry.
This new mobility includes the convergence of electric vehicles, connected cars, autonomous driving and new retail models that will all work to change how we view mobility.
